1.Launching the Application

1. Extract the software package and double-clickAutoTranslator.exeto run

2. If DLsite Nest is not installed, you will be prompted to install it on first launch. Download and install the software, then restart AUTD Translator

2.OCR Configuration

First-time users must configure OCR and translation sources through settings. This setup only needs to be performed once. Access the settings entry as shown

• OCR Function: Extracts text from images, which is then translated via integrated APIs

1. The software currently provides two OCR modes: Online and Offline

   • Online mode: Computational services provided by our servers. No local CPU usage and minimal hardware requirements. New users can get a 3-day free trial of online OCR. Click Purchase Plan to extend access. Details can be found in the Online OCR Guide.
   • Offline mode: Requires downloading models to your computer. Higher CPU usage and hardware demands.

2. Source Language Selection: Currently supports Japanese. (English as source language support coming soon)

3.Translation Source Configuration

• For Free Trial/Paying Users, no configuration required during 3-day trial or with active subscription
• The function of the translation source is to translate the OCR-extracted text into your target language
• The software provides up to 9 different Online Translation Sources, allowing multiple translation sources to be enabled simultaneously for comparative viewing
• Please refer to Translation Source Registration for the comparison of translation sources and the configuration of each translation source

4.Translation Area Selection & Processing

1. Click the Area Selection Button in the functional panel to frame the text box in-game. Translation will appear immediately after successful area selection

• Ensure the translation area does NOT overlap with the translator UI. It is recommended that you place the translation tool above or below the target text.

• Afterwards, each text segment will require manually clicking the translation button to initiate the translation process

2. Alternatively, switch to automatic translation mode, which will automatically perform translation operations when the game text changes
